I have come up with a proper idea.
I am going to ban any horse except for miniature horses.
Because horsey jumping is classed as a sport when it just isnt(sitting ontop of a horse and pointing it in the right direction and it jumping over things is just lazy and not a real sport) i say everyone should have miniature horses.
Carbon emissions will cut down, this is because you can put the horse in your car instead of in a big trailor, which lowers fuel economy by the drag the horse trailor causes.
So there we go, everyone vote for me when you can, so i can take over England, and make Britain great again!

Joe, sweetheart...You are more than welcome to come down here and get on my horse, and show me just how easy it is. You just point him in the direction you want and show me how its properly done:tongue:I am obviously doing it all wrong.
And as for carbon emissions....the way mine farts, there is no hope. He has an ozone layer the size of Blackpool over his field I think!!!:biggrin:xx(

If you had a miniature horse, it would be alot less the size, and less difficult;)

Joe....just because your GF keeps telling you small is better....

she is just being kind:biggrin:;)

Ahhh, you would be surprised Lisa;)

Just admit it, you have just realised you have wasted all that money, when you could have a minature horse and be alot better off and not be polluting the environment as much;)

It will also make it a sport, because people will have to run around with their minature horse, jumping over the obsticles aswell as the horse, making it a real sport.
Not only will the horse be working, but so will the person, so you will have to actually be fit to do it, aswell as your horse being fit.
It will also mean less big shoots on the road, can take your miniature horse for walks off the road, and can even pick up after it.
You dont need such big fields for the horse because they are smaller, a big back garden will do, or if not a small stables.
This will mean that there will be fields spare to grow stuff on, like oilseed rape, corn, apples, houses, and other things. Or sheep and cows that we actually need so we can eat/get food from them/other products that we need.
Horses we dont really need, we dont really need them. I doubt we would lose much, if anything, if horses were got rid of.

So there we go, everyone vote for me when you can, so i can take over England, and make Britain great again!

Joe, the motorcycle I'm riding at the moment would have you shitting conkers if you were to go either on the front (if you had the ability to ride it) or the back as a passenger due to its absolutely massive performance (0-60=2.6 seconds and the ability to lift the front wheel at 140mph in 3rd gear)

The fear you would feel from getting on a horse (like our thoroughbred (read racehorse)) and riding in full gallop across an open field is much much worse than you would ever feel on something as powerful as a modern litre class superbike. 170/180mph on an empty stretch of road for me - no problem, 40mph on a horse across a field, no bloody way.

You are but a minnow in comparison to the raw power of a horse which can lift its own bodyweight (half a tonne) over a big jump, or the ability it takes to get up to competitive level in this discipline. It takes real guts to do it and those who deal and work with them respect the strength they have and have mine as not everyone has it in them to do that.

Come to think of it, you'd be winging like a baby after a couple of miles of rising trot down a country lane on a pony.

Your failing is in the fact you are so bloody blinkered in your outlook, you have no broad experience of other disciplines to draw from in your assertions, and that is why you come over all mouth and trousers

I'd pay good money to see Joe try and lay the law down to a bolshy 15:3 cob

Linf, why are you talking to me about motorbikes:rolleyes::wacko:

I wouldnt be fearful of getting on a horse, id conqour that mother ****ing horse and show it whos boss, simple;)

Face it Linf, your not realising, like Lisa, that you have made the stupid mistake of buying a full size forse, when a miniature one would make alot more sence.

This is supposed to be a 'stabling device', not something which is used for exercising animals with. It is totally unsuitable for the use you propose and if you did have even a grain of understanding of horsemanship, you wouldn't be putting this ridiculous idea forward.

What exactly is your objection to a pile of horse dung on a bridleway anyway ?

What's your objection to a pile of dog shoot outside your front door?

I didn't -it was a number of cities that did.

.... but then again lets not let facts interfere with the decision of all these City Councils and National Parks - I of course accept full responsibility and that I sit on Council Committees from Vienna to Great Yarmouth... The expenses are good though!

Do you really consider it an "enhancement"?

What is your objection to clearing it up?
