Hospital appt

Just back from the hospital.
The consultant finally agreed that I could have the gallbladder operation done. Great!
Or is it???
No. He also told me this is his last week in work as he retires at the end of this week.
So, I will now be passed to his colleague and it will be up to him to decide.
WTF!!
I have only been waiting for 17 months, in pain, on a very restricted diet and now I am totally p*ssed off.

On the upside I'm so hacked off I've just spent an hour cleaning the bathroom...

Thanks. Yes the irony is that if I went private I could have it done within a month.
Unfortunately we don't have private health care.

If you're still hacked off, feel free to clean my bathroom and if still hacked off, the drawing room and the dining room could do with a going over as well.

I've started on the kitchen and currently have the voile panels off the window and in the washing machine

I was so angry I was crying about it (and my gallbladder was killing me as well, just to prove a point) but now, well, I can't change anything so I have to wait, although my husband says he'll buy me a huge pizza, wait 30 mins then take me to A&E

I'm looking forward to that - would have been nice to have it all done and over with before my holiday in June but hey ho...
