I'm sure many children from the seventies can claim to have been conceived in one of these. Now you can buy one for touring, how cool is that? You're bound to be the be the most popular person on the site.

My mate has got that tent. His motorbike shares it with him and his wife when they go camping.

Quite useless for a cycle tourist as you would be charged extra for having a vehicle on your pitch. And totally useless for stealth camping.

A nice bit of expensive impractical eye candy. The proud owner will be the most popular person on the camp site only because of the entertainment value of watching the struggle of it being erected.

I saw one being erected at the Moonbeams festival in the Yorkshire Wolds in July. It's nigh on impossible to erect if you are on your own - the framework is flimsy and it would be helpful if you were an octopus to hold onto the various bits of the framework before they are stabilised. With assistance after twenty five minutes of struggling on his own, the camper van tent owner eventually had a habitable tent after forty five minutes. God help him on future erections if the wind was stronger than the stiff breeze he put the tent up in at the festival.

To be fair, it looked impressive once it was up and guyed out but I couldn't face the hassle just to have a cool looking tent.

It's true nobody wants trouble with their erection.
