How can I minimise clutter on my HTC home screen?

All I really need on my home screen is the time (easily visible) + the smallest possible icons to access text, email, phone, music, camera and browser. Ideally I'd like to have almost all the screen given over to a nice image. Anyone know of a way and/or downloadable app that would make this possible?

If you download multicon, it will let you fit more shortcut icons than normal in the same space.
Then choose the smallest clock widget and you should be sorted.

No probs. Multicon is pretty good. In the example above, it has fitted 8 shortcuts into a space that would normally only fit 2.
You can make it squeeze even more in, but I have found that makes it really hard to see!
