How do I connect this telly to my amp?

I just bought a telly in a Black Friday frenzy...now I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to connect it to my (regular hifi, not telly-related) amplifier, since it apparently has no headphone socket (which is how I did it with my old telly). The connectors it does have are:

The 'ARC' one near the bottom sounds promising, but googling for cables hasn't produced anything with one end that looks like this:

...which I would find reassuring.

As you can tell, I'm hopelessly out of my depth here, so I'd be pathetically grateful for a bit of guidance. Ideally I'd like to have the cable before the telly arrives next week so I'm ready to hit the ground running.

Thanks.

PS T'hound seems to feel I need a walk, so apologies in advance for any delayed response to any posts.

Does your amp have optical input? That might be your best bet

oh, also there's the wireless option (plug blutooth receiver into HiFi) but again I've never tried it myself. I'm sure your new TV is SMART enough to do that though.

If it's an amp, rca or the digital converter mentioned above. I don't think an amp will like the ARC channel.

Thanks all. Following up on the
You can get a converter that will use the digital audio output of the telly and convert it to analogue so you can plug into your hifi with a 3.5mm jack. not sure of any latency issues though. This is unavailable but you could look for similar:

...I got to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Musou®-Dig...words=Digital+to+Analog+Audio+Converter&psc=1

...which looks like the bidniss. The only thing I'm a little unsure about is that it seems to draw its power from USB - would the USB sockets on the telly do the job?

The ARC connection will only work if you've a HDMI input on your amp, which is common with a dedicated AV amp, but not regular hifi. There is no analogue audio output on the TV, and the only digital one we can see is 'optical' output, aka toslink.
Depends on your amp and/or Cd equipment, but it's more likely that there's an optical input on your CD, (as it has DAC) which should work fine. with the output from your TV.
The photo in your post is of RCA phono leads, which are analogue, but your TV instructions show there is no analogue output.

Your link refers to DAC you've seen on Amazon, so yes that should work; optical out on TV to your DAC, use RCA phono output to your regular hifi amp

Bottom line; your TV only has digital audio output, so you'll need an AV amp, DAC, or suitably specified CD player to connect to.

That was the way I was thinking.
USB sockets usually work fine.
But will the ones on the telly be powered? The thing seems to work by a 5v DC drawn from USB. I suppose the smart thing to do would be to go wile and sink another couple of squids in the powered option. If it turns out the USBs do provide power, I have a 5v DC adaptor going begging...not exactly t'end o' t'world.

Yes, else how would the TV play anything from a USB disk or stick?

I've seen one TV which sulks if there's something drawing USB power but not offering any data, but it was some obscure brand. I've seen a few Samsung, Sony and LG ones in pubs and hotels which seem fine about charging battery packs

The box you ordered should do it. You can get HDMI to DVI cables with an analogue audio connector at the DVI end if your telly has a DVI input. 3.5mm jack or phono. I have so few sources I have the blu ray and DVR connected directly to the amp. If you're using the TV with an aerial (Belling Lee connector for the geeks) that obviously wouldn't work.
