You have to give us more info other than one cryptic close-up.
What type of crank is it?
What type of BB is on there?
Is that black ring in the hole a washer?
From the picture and looking at the 7-speed chain on there and stamped steel chainrings, I suspect it is a cheap crank and therefore square taper. But I don't have enough into to say for sure.

And when you use that crank extractor, make sure that the inner part is fully retracted before you screw in the outer part. If you are foolish enough not to take my advice then you might do what one pathetic idiot I know did (
