..new to cycling and as a forty something coming from a Xc & fell running background I have decided to get into cycling. Hopefully I can save my legs from moorland terrain and maintain a reasonable level of fitness and endurance thru cycling. I just need a bike.
Been researching for a few months now and narrowed it down to about 5 bikes, all ranging from £699 to £899. Didn't really want to spend £899 considering all the accessories I'd need on top, but I'm thinking a good bike to start will last me for a fair few years.
Planet X pro carbon 105 groupset Fulcrum Sport Racing wheelset,£899
Cube Peloton Race 2014 105 groupset, mavic aksium s wheelset, £699
Pinarello Neor 2014 Tiagra groupset, Shimano R500 wheelset, £885
Ribble Sportive Azzuro 105 groupset, aksium one or rodi airline wheelset, £899
Felt F75 105 groupset with FSA chainset, mavic cxp 22 wheelset, £711
Any thoughts on what would be my first bike would be welcomed.
