I thought I would see what happens if I used an actual machine to do it.

after a few practice goes in the 600ms range I can now consistently get it in the 320 to 400ms range. Try as I might can't get it under 300ms

BTW, this is like all internet tests. It's designed to give a falsely high result so you then share it. Like all those trivially easy quizzes that say "only a genius will get 100% on this" and because it then tells you that you are a genius, so you go and show off your amazing brain to all your friends.

In this case they want to draw traffic to the "airbnb for parking" website, so they want everyone to say "Look, I have the reactions of a 20 year old, try it yourself!"
