Just checked when I 'might' get my state pension. 16 years to go........ at the moment.

It will be 10 years in March. I will get an extra £500 in my salary from the company for this achievement as well (after tax I expect it will be about £200 .

If it is you must be paid extraordinarily well!

I've been with my company for 17 years. The company and my job has changed an awful lot in that time.

I've just left the organisation I had been with for 15 years. It was definitely time for a change, but a bit scary having to look for something new.
