Anything next to the skin (t shirts, underwear, socks etc) ...every day.
Trousers (although they're next to the skin) 2 or 3 days if they dont get dirty, same with jumpers. But then, i'm not wearing them for say 2 or 3 days solid, i tend to wear something for a few hours a day then air or fold them up if still clean.

I remember completely doing my kitchen, 4 days solid work, decorating, new units, plumbing, carpets, the lot. I decided i'd just wear the same stuff (barring underwear and socks) for the duration. Jesus H Christ, it (i) stunk by the end of it.

i agree with underpants , but if tops being worn for slight doing rather than heavy manual work then i still think 2 to 3 days is ok .

after all i shower every day

I used to work with someone who only changed their clothes at the point when he had to chase the offending items and beat them with a stick...

If you turn your undies the other way round you'll get another two weeks out of em ;)

i've got three work shirts, i give am about 3 days each, then they go home in my pannier for a wash and back in again for wearing.
i shower every morning when i get into work so they're on a clean bod every time and my job is desk based so i'm not getting hot and bothered. in fact with our air con i generally sit here freezing my back side off...

the only horror i have to put up with in work is the smell in the gents locker room come thursday what with all those lovely people that don't change their cycle clothing during the week so you get hit by this physical wall of smell.
