In my locker at work, I have 5 shirts. I wear each once per week and take them all home once a month to wash.

That's 5 wears per shirt. I shower when I get into work, so the shirts go onto a clean body.

With regards to my non-works shirts, I don't know. Mrs MM goes into my wardrode and sniffs the shirts. If it has a whiff or if the collars look grubby, she washes. Personally, I always feel that I could get another 2 or 3 wears out of a shirt, but she feels they 'stink' after 1 or 2 wears.

She doesn't trust you, checking for perfume.

Depends what you wear the t shirt for, if it's a lounging sort of t shirt which doesn't really smell easily (i.e. not doing much movement) then a few days, but if it's a t shirt you wear for the whole day which will collect sweat etc. then a day, or two days is more than enough. I guess it all depends on how much you smell and how much you sweat, and how often you shower.

A woman's sense of smell is much more finely attuned.

I'd trust Moodywoman; your female colleagues may thank you

I change my clothes every day. If your clothes niff then you're the last to know about it.
Me too.. until I got some cycle-specific tops made from recycled coffee grounds. Cotton or linen shirts smell after less than an hour but I've worn a coffee shirt (Octane from Tenn Outdoors) for 5 rides in 7 days and, even then, I only washed it because I thought it was gross wearing a shirt that much, there was no smell at all

Two days, unless I'm dripping with sweat, in which case it gets hung up to air as soon as I get home and then chucked in the laundry basket.

I only wear anything one time but out here it's a little bit warm so very often it's two shirts and underwear each day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently, I generate too much washing, so I'm obliged to wear certain shirts twice before putting them in the wash.

That's rare, though. I usually wash a shirt if I've worn it all day. My body loves to sweat.
