I saw the first couple but could see where it was going (that is........nowhere discernible) so I gave up on it.

I watched them all but found both Sam and her ex unbelievably mardy-arsed baskets with no personalities, most of the rest of the cast were similar.

Still, I enjoyed watching the moody jock in that last episode. ;)

Right, it's all quite simple.
Jack Turner's henchman Bingham was supposed to drug Sam, but got a bit dropper-happy and gave her a possibly fatal dose. Whilst she's unconscious, Turner tries to drown her in the bath, but as we saw in one of the earlier episodes, one of Sam's hobbies is holding her breath underwater. So she survives that attempt and chucks Turner down his fancy stairwell.
It turns out that the seriously creepy Horst Goebel impersonator is trying to kill Sam for Polyhedrus, but he's in competition with the woman who turned up a couple of episodes ago, so he's been saving Sam's life thus far, including giving Aidan the antidote to the Bingham-administered overdose, so she survives that one.
Keel, the bloke who runs Byzantium, is having an attack of decency due to his brain tumour and arranges with Deacon to "kill" Sam just as the woman assassin and her colleagues are closing in on Sam in the bridge. She falls over the parapet into the water, but presumably with the aid of body armour, fake blood and the aforementioned breath-holding abilities, she survives to return to the remote cottage in Scotland where her baby is actually alive and well.
Or something.

According to wikipedia, "on 14 November 2012, The Guardian reported that BBC One had decided not to commission a second series of Hunted, citing ongoing ratings declines as the primary reason." So we may never find out what the hell it's all about.

Yeah I thought that was what was going to happen ^_^ so I didn't watch it.
My Mrs has been watching it and she insisted on telling me how the plot span out. I stopped her after a about 5 mins and said I was losing the will to live and would she mind if I slit my throat. Not amused.

Haven't seen the last part yet, but I've been enjoying it in a postmodern sense. Bit of a car crash to put it mildly, but I still want to know what happens. And Patrick Malahide chewing the scenery has been fun.

Hands up all those who watched it because it had Melissa George in, and you fancied her in Home and Away.

The short answer to the OPs question is "Too many." I lost the plot about four episodes back.....but sadly still watched it because there's 6ugger all else on.

We started watching it but I forgot to record one episode while we were away. I tried to pick it up but couldn't make head nor tail of it so gave up. The last episode I saw finished where the creepy fella had her pinned on the ground and was going to inject her eye :eek:but she obviously got away somehow.
It was all a bit drab and angsty. And why did she not collapse through sleep deprivation? She never seemed to go to bed.
I have to say that despite having seen four or five episodes, Siadwell's precis, good as it is makes no sense to me at all

Thanks for clearing that up coz i was a tad confused, probably because i missed the bit where her hobby is holding her breath.)) I liked the series but i was hooked by the first scene, when she really kicked ass. wish i could fight like that. Not because i want to fight but just because i'd know i could kick someone's ass if i wanted to. inner confidence and all that malarkey.

I thought Hunted was quite good, a bit muddled at times but OK.. as for the second series I'm not sure.
It was so to take over from Spooks so I read somwhere.. but I dont think it was better than Spooks.
So we will have to see..
