8.7 miles getting in to work according bikehike's course software, descending 675 ft and climbing 250 ft. It's a bit harder work going home (same route) - 30 minutes in and just over 40 going home. Last night for the first time (started this commute in Jan.) I cycled rather than walked the steepest bit :wahhey:.

4 miles down hill on the way in (down to sea level ) and 4 miles back up on the way home

I extend it a lot though when I have the time riding up to 10 miles of coast road then a loop back inland to home so it gets a bit hilly

I call it a commute but I work from home so its the ride down to my Mums shop to help her out or cover it for her

Fairly steady as a 17mile round trip / 8.5 mile each way. I have two routes that are about the same distance. The other alternative route is further and involves tow paths so is typically a summer evening only route.

I cycle 8.5 miles each way. I aim to cycle 5 days a week, but sometimes feel lazy, or go for drinks after work, so probably averages 3-4.

I have to get up an hour earlier if I take public transport to work, so have to plan this the night before, which at least cuts down the amount of time I don't cycle due to laziness.

12 miles each way 4 times a week - the other day is taking provisions in and generally getting over the weekend!

Even so, I'm absolutley cream crackered at the end of the week, and might have to do it less as spring/summer approaches and longer spins at the weekend come in!

16.5 miles each way and unless I'm travelling it's normally 5 days a week. This will change soon as I will be moving to another location sometime next month and then it could be different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20 miles each way - currently 2 or 3 times a week. Hope to get it up to 3 or 4 per week regularly but at the moment back to back days is tiring out my poor little leggies!
Will extend the homeward route a bit once the weather cheers up and the evenings are lighter.
Downhill on the way in - but I'm not fond of the ride home. Uphill, unlit, couple of unpleasant A roads, rush hour and a road surface that makes the Rockies look flat :-)

14mile each way, quite hilly though, fantastic views at the top over Exeter, try and do it 2/3 days a week

At the moment 17 miles out, 15.5 back and 3 or 4 times a week on average. Usually make it a little longer in Summer.

25 miles each way, but only twice a week max, between April and September - shame on me. Aim to start up next week though, which is 6 weeks early for me.
