How many on your ignore list?...

...prompted by another thread I was mildly curious as to how many you had on 'ignore'.
Do you ignore them because they're irritating, disagree with your point of view, are rude, smug and humourless, have animated avatars ...?
FWIW, I currently have none on ignore but I had a maximum of 3 a while ago.
No need to name names as it might become rancorous!

I've never really figured out the ignore list and I'm always scared that, being terminally curious, I may miss something interesting.

That said there have been a few people close to being put on it for various reasons. Spouting c**p on the rare subjects that I'd consider myself to know what I'm talking about usually.

But it's only the internet Martin. I don't understand anyone puttting people on the ignore list tbh. It's a bit like putting your fingers in your ears in school when you don't like the other side of a conversation.

I would suppose and hope that there wouldn't be too many that use the option on cc as in my limited time on here it has been an extremely friendly place to discuss stuff. Learned loads from it too. However the world being as it is i can see some people would resort to it but as a last resort hopefully.
Compared to other forums i use the moderation of the site quite is relaxed too and that in part is down to the posters self moderating imo.

I think I have had a maximum of 2 people who have both left (one of them a long time ago and I think after several bans) - certainly there appears to be nobody on there now. I put them on the ignore list as anything they wrote seemed to make my blood boil and have to react to their statements. It was my way of calming me down. It wasn't just because I didn't agree with what they were saying.

There are a couple of really rude and obnoxious people who post on here and seem to verge on schizophrenic with their anger management issues but I wouldn't ignore them; their rants just remind me how lucky we are to have the free use of a generally friendly and informative forum.
