I have none as I am not that bothered about things said on the internet. This forum does not appear that bad anyway. When I was into cars I used a couple of forums that had some real knob heads on. Always putting people down that asked the same question that had been asked numerous times before and suggesting that they use the search function in a nasty manner. I have never noticed that on here in the short period that I have been on here and I have noticed the same questions asked again and again and the majority of users are always very helpful. If the same questions were not asked there would probably be hardly any new threads started.

Having said that I have noticed the odd heated debate on here about doubles versus tripples for example. This amazes me probably because I am not a fanatical cyclist and it does not really interest me. Still everybody to their own.

If you ignore people you lose sight of the full spectrum of opinions, even if you strongly disagree with their views. We don't live in a cosy world where everyone has the same take on things.
I can live without listening to bigots, I know they are out there, I know ( now) what they think, I don't need to hear anymore..

I had to check. Just one on mine. He isn't someone I disagree with, and is definitely what Patrick and co would call a "Leftie", but he just gets on my tits. He's quite a prolific contributor and a lot of people respond to him, so now that you can't see quotes from ignorees it makes some threads slightly confusing.

The fact that you have 'quill stems rule!' as your title would make me want to put you on ignore but your avatar makes me chuckle so I won't.

Who did you have on ignore? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to...

LOL I have no problem in saying it was Dawsome who's inane rants in commuting / helmet threads finally did my head in, normally I can see past it but I must have been having a bad day

I think I had 1 or maybe 2, ages ago but I just went to my ignore list (took a while to find it) and it's empty. Anybody who was on it must have left. There are a couple of nutty lunartic types who annoy me but I wouldn't put them on ignore, just as easy to not pay any attention to their drivel. There are 3 others who are just so dull that I always skip their contributions. No need to ignore, via the built-in feature

Although there's a few I disagree with, it would be a funny old world if we all agreed all the time, my ignore list is empty. Life's too short to get upset over words on a screen.

I just un-ignored one person, because the other half of a conversation was indicating monumental levels of Stupid. And so it proved to be. Probably back up to two before the day is out, so my brains don't start leaking out my ears.

I sympathise totally, Spinners cut n pastes and debating style of making a point and labelling anyone who disagreed a troll was enough to test the patience of a saint.

I would actually put a couple of people on ignore, but I love to argue and wind up too much for me to do anything so sensible.

I always quite enjoyed Spinners contributions. His heart was definitely in the right place.
Everything posted by a certain individual gives me the hundred yard stare. In 5 years, genuinely disliking just the one person is not too bad I guess and I wouldn't want to be on a ride with that person.
Are we allowed to guess?

I need to change my answer as I've added another.....

I've spent too long on Internet message boards to have obnoxious, rude or just plain idiotically provocative posts annoy me, so blocking is easier on the blood pressure.
