Err I'm not sure I want to think about it....
2 pairs of croc's for going out into the garden (different places)
6 pairs of sandles (3 smart)
7 pairs of boots (if you don't count the ones I need to throw out), one pair is my cycling boots for winter
1 pair ankle boots
1 pair of proper trainers for sport
3 pairs of camper/converses
2 pairs of flip flops/birkenstocks
7+ pairs of shoes that are hardly ever worn - that just sit waiting for the time they are needed (some are 20 years old I think - but used so irregularly that they aren't wearing out) Most of those are smart-ish for evenings out or weddings etc.
1 pair of wellies
1 pair of leather walking boots - 20 years old and still going strong (it helps that they don't get used that often)
2 pairs of slippers - one very decrepit , and the kids bought me some new ones last Christmas
1 pair of cycling shoes - mainly not used as I'm usually doing something when I get off the bike
2 pairs that my daughter seems to have stolen (a pair of daps and desert boots)
So that is 36
And in a normal week I would only wear two probably: summer time it would be the birkenstocks or camper lace ups (excluding trips out to the garden in the crocs), and in winter time it would probably be my warm boots or camper lace ups.
So I'm not sure why I need all the others but I guess I'm not very good at throwing the old ones out and I don't do smart that often. I also hate paying full price for shoes for some reason and often end up replacing the old favourites that are wearing out with almost identical ones. Hush puppies would be the most represented brand I think.
