You've got your work cut out tomorrow then WC. Will you get any, pancakes that is?
I'm having a mini fast in preparation for the big day tomorrow.

Crankarm said:Oh ........... the thought have having some competition, prematurely got my pancake juices flowing. Feel quite flat now. Surely you and MrWC must be having at least one or two. Maybe have one in the shape of a Valentine heart ...
Will WCMnr be having loads at uni as it is cheap, easy, fun, student food?

Cubist said:Well, the tossing is finally over at Cube Towers. Mrs Cube has just been discharged following an episode of perforated diver- something or other and so managed a pretty feeble and measly one. As she was ill I was forced to download and install Nanna /MIL 1.0 on the domestic operating system, and she managed a pretty impressive 2. Cubester is off at Woody's, so he failed miserably. Cubette and her mate Hols saved the day by eating an impressive four each. and because I'm trying to lose a bit of weight I only had 5. Urrrrrrrp.![]()
Yes, that's the one Arch!Arch said:Is that the Nanna/MIL 1.0 I met? (Not that you'll have more than one MIL of course) I can imagine you all enjoying pancakes...
In our first year, the three of us sharing a house had a pancake party. Tom and I made a big batch of batter and as soon as people arrived, got cooking. After a while, we had to send a couple of guests out for more eggs, milk and flour. About 3 hours in, we realised that neither of us had managed to get one yet - everytime one was ready, there was a guest with a plate waiting.
I think that was the same evening they tried to push me down the road on a wheelie bin.... There may have been booze too.
