them base strings are a bit on the large side they look like there about 10mm dia how would you even strum strings so big lol

hold on iv just noticed arnt the base strings meant to be at the bottom ????

Its played flat on your lap with a steel bar hence the name Lap-steel guitar as opposed to the ones on a stand which often have 2 sets of strings.
Or maybe the workmate comes with it :whistle:

I can't see it catching on some how. I still think 7 strings on a guitar is blasphemous. This is just utter devilment and perpetrators will probably be punished in many and wicked ways and rightly so.
I'm going now to play my conventionally tuned 6 string acoustic in the most puritanical way I can. Please don't upset me with these images again.
