Instead of having so many strings on one guitar, surely it would be easier to have several guitars? One of them could even be specifically for the bass strings. Then you could get your friends to play them with you at the same time. Seems better than trying to play all the strings yourself.

The problem with these things from what I have heard is that the amps can't cope with the wide range, they struggle with the very low and very high, it's why you have different amps for guitars and basses.

Anyway, the quest for more strings was started by classical guitars, this is soooo behind the times :becool:
