You have spent on bikes and acessories over the years ? as i sit here waiting on my Taho shoes to arrive, Mrs bhoyjim goes on and on about how much i've spent saying there's a parcel delivered every other week, i come home with something new etc etc, a rough estimate for me must be close to £2500, and i've only been cycling for 2 years, so come on how much ?

The wife asked me the same question the other day and adding up bikes, parts, clothes, accessories, food, trips, trainers and stuff easy 30 grand over 20 years. She asked whether I'm done and I told I have not begun to spend.

I reckon it's about seven thousand* but that's over 20 years and only for the bits I remember.

*one of those in the last week or two from the good people of this forum!

Alot.
But, since ive built the new fixed up, ive only spent about £30 on it, which was 2 new chains and a set of bearings for the back wheel.
So not much really, love the fixed and it being cost effective;)

I have been cycling for six months now, so far £ 1700 on carbon Cannondale road bike. Then £1800 on a Marin mtb, and god knows what else on clothing and bits and bobs.
I have sold my Ducati because it cost me a fortune on serviceing.

Even though there's no one at home to sign for half of it and I end up going to one depot or the other, I've started getting stuff sent here to stop them knowing about the extent of my purchases at work

Probably around the £10K mark in the last 10 years or so:ohmy: A not inconsiderable ammount of money when you think about it
