Mine and the head teachers responses. Despite the honey mummies standing up for me they still try to kill me on a weekly basis 😂🤣👍
Thank you for your email.
Apologies for the incident you describe and thank you for letting us know.
Please be assured we will follow up in school.

Subject: Cycling incident
Good afternoon,
I was cycling past the school this morning, heading north towards the Co- Op, when a member of staff ( they parked in the school car park) tried to run me over … Due to the parents cars parked along the left hand side of the road I had to move out towards the white line to pass them.
The Staff member tried to overtake me using the right hand side of the narrow road and as she came alongside me tried to turn left into the car park by driving over me. That was naughty !
And illegal.
It’s dangerous enough cycling past the school in the mornings with the hunny mummies pulling out while looking at their phones (allegedly) without the staff trying to assassinate passing cyclists.
The Highway Code and Lincolnshire Police have tried to promote safe overtaking of cyclists and have had campaigns over the last 12 months across the county, maybe you need to get them in to inform staff, parents, and children how to overtake cyclists and the minimum legal passing distance … before someone kills me !
Gold / metallic brown coloured car, female staff member ..
I did respond in my best ex military Anglo-Saxon, possibly not appropriate with the children around, but then killing me is fairly inappropriate as well, I believe.
The staff member will remember the big bloke in the red t-shirt I’m sure.
Your thoughts are welcomed.
Best regards,
David Whiteside
