One of my grandfathers got badly injured by a kick from a donkey once... he recovered though.

I'm amazed he got up so quick after that!

I got launched by a horse as a kid when I went to pick up a football from behind one. Luckily the hoof got me in the soft part of my stomach so it didn't hurt as much as it might. But I did fly quite well apparently.
