There's the (possibly apocryphal, but claimed true) story of a chap in a Range Rover being waved back by someone standing in wellies in some flood water. The Range Rover guy confidently dismisses the warning as the vehicle could clearly ford the modest depths involved.

However, the chap waving him back was in fact standing on the roof of his car.

There was a quote from someone in The Metro today that said " it was like the end of the world"
No it flucking wasn't, it was like 3 bell-ends drove their cars into some water which was a bit deep.

Nowhere on any footage I have seen the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse trotting through the floods, and the world is still here today. get a grip FFS.
