Was it a quick pace?
We did the Norwich 100 last June, but it took 9 hours including stops
It was an exceedingly leisurely pace with a stop at Bonds of Elswick for ice cream, a trip up the coast to Fleetwood, then we caught the ferry over to Knott End for a cafe stop by the sea. On the way back, we split into two groups - the fast group shot off and the rest of us meandered back at our own speed.
We did a modified version last year which avoided the coast and crossed the Wyre at the toll bridge near Elswick.
I was hoping to organise another edition this spring but I've been too ill to ride my bike. If I make a recovery in time, I might do it in the autumn instead. We'll have to see.
You'd be welcome to join us next time we do the ride. We start and finish from the car park at Spring Wood above Whalley.
