I used to do that when I was at school - roll my skirt up to make it shorter after I had left the house!!!
I second the top tip on growing hair long. Helmet hair is really not a good look and the only way to get around it is to pin it up I reckon - unless you have helmet proof hair and that I haven't managed to get yet.
Seriously though this article made me a bit ashamed to be a woman - "my bike is a bit big for me but I like that?" "It's the ultimate accessory?!"
They are a bit fluffy for me!
... AND that road bike they show has got no mudguards or anything - when I used to cycle to work on a bike with no mudguards I used to get road muck all up my face and my back and my arse used to get so wet I used to have to bring a spare pair of knickers to change into at work!
I reckon we have some fair weather cyclists here!!
