I’m sure we all get this on a daily basis; (if posts on this forum and videos are anything to go by) you’re cycling along and the car behind decides to overtake when there is no space/time to do so – don’t get me wrong – I’ve absolutely no problem with cars overtaking/going faster than me/me reading the road ahead and pulling into the side of the road to let them do so when appropriate etc – but when they do it when there is no space or no point – reading the road badly - not giving a shoot about you and pulling off the overtake, break and pull in all at the same time number – it starts to piss me off – the “gotta get past the cyclist at all costs” manoeuvre.
Did a lovely 20 miler around Richmond Park and Wimbledon common Sunday morning – mainly off road – but the selfish minority were out in force on the roads – is it me, or (sorry to be London centric) do most of the piss poor driving seem to be exhibited by Private Taxies. If I had a pound for every shite piece of driving I witness only to see that round TFL Private Hire Disk in the rear window of the offending vehicle… I’d have about £947 by now

...i watch these videos, and i'm always struck how little poor driving i see in Peterborough. They're bloody angels here compared with wot you've got to deal with.
