How to get a bent one up...

Hi guys, I went to my local bike mechanic's laboratory yesterday and found her scratching her head looking at a recumbent trike sorely in need of a good fettling. She was trying to work out how to get it up off of the ground in order to work on it. She has a well equipped workshop, inc two good stands. Could some of you guys please post some pics showing what arrangements you have to work on your 'bents?

I usually just put the Ratrike on an open topped box or a crate to raise it to working height.

Otherwise take the seat off and gentley clamp the maintube near the balance point in the workshop stand.
That gets it in the air.

The above, not that hard to and just uses bit of plastic piping that is not to dear. Or you can make a scaled down version, put this on a bench and then go from there.

I hoist it up half way with the ceiling mounted electric winch that normally stores my trike overhead in the hallway.

three large buckets, stand a wheel in each one, then i sit on a short stool with wheels on to work on the trike.

That won't help if you want to adjust the gears, but otherwise it is a cheap easy trick (if you happen to have three buckets lying around, I don't)
