My mates daughter bought up a load of inflatable toys from the pound shops last summer. Sold them on Ebay for double the puchase price. I also heard of a painter buying up loads of those cavas picture frames from the cheap shops, painted them white with undercoat and again sold them on Ebay at a proffit!!!!

As a school kid I once bought a pack of bubble gum for 10p....5 in a pack, sold them for 10p each. ;)

Obviously, didn't make much money (especially as I helped myself to the inventory), but a good profit margin ;)

I'm watching this thread closely as we have just had a first quote in for a fitted kitchen. Unfortunately the gap between what we can pay and what they have quoted is a good bit more than £400. ;)

Okay, just an update.

I've been working again doing Internet Marketing for the last couple of months, and made my first sale!

Hoping I can keep them coming in!

Sure

Google give me $100 of free advertising credit, I blew $60 of it before I realised I was doing it wrong. Then spent the remaining $40 promoting a few other products, one month later someone who clicked on one of my ads bought one of the products, making me $20

However, for the last month I have been doing article marketing, and the traffic is slowly starting to trickle in, once that gets going I will start making more sales than using PPC marketing, and it's free, so I make 100% profit xx(

The only downside is that I have to spend quite a lot of time writing articles, then rewriting them, and submitting them, but as long as it starts to bring in money I don't mind

And if you weren't, then I'm sure there probably would be some sort of fetish market for you.
Possibly anyway, I mean, they have just about everything else ...err, I mean apparently from what I've heard anyway

Oh and talking of which, I was Cycling off road through the New Forest and I came across an old discarded Porn mag. It was well and truly stuck together, but for once I think that might have been due to rain (at least I hope it was!).

They are pervy those Ponies, aren't they?

I'll get me coat.

I quite like a little bit of Google Adsense....when I was less honest in my youth I made about £150 just by getting mates to click on them...I now realise that I can make more money, honestly, and won't loose my account!

One of my sites has picked up a bit of traffic this month thanks to some good blog links and a few radio mentioned....should help cover a nice bit of motorbike gear ;)

An adsense click can sometimes be just as good as an affiliate commission (if you choose lower end products)....have you got an Amazon account too? You'll never sell the product you are advertising...but sell every other weird thing under the moon ;) (it's only a 24hour tracking cookie, but seems to work).

So it's not free, then.

The cost of your own time is part of any business calculation. Loads of people have 'profitable' corner shops which pay them well below minimum wage.

Somebody went from my blog to ProBikeKit to look at a Deda Dog Fang costing just over £6 and ended up spending £91.78! ;)
