Now you've only got to tell half the population what numbers mean; after all they don't seem to be able to interpet those on signs or their dashboard. ;)

Why is the prat riding in the dark with no lights in the video on their website???? Is that supposed to show that:

a) You can clearly see the numbers but only when he has no other lights
:?: He's a knob
c) Both of the above

I just don't get it. A guy on a bike with changing numbers on his back... maybe the motorists will see it as some form of 'points' scoring, and hit him when he's riding the fastest. ;)

Without resorting to gadgets, I like to have some side component to my riding when I'm approaching a junction at speed and a car is waiting, because that makes it much more obvious that I'm going fast and much easier for the driver to judge my speed. Usually negotiating out into the middle of the lane is sufficient to show that I'm fast and that the driver shouldn't pull out. I might also add a wobble if there's time and space to do it safely.
