Electronic gear shifting????????????????

According to Wiggins, not big enough

I really don't like the idea of the electronic shifters. Let down at the crucial moment. Was in with a fantastic chance of the win. Plus, just how safe is the transmitting. Just thinking that some gadgy fiddling with his radio trying to tune in to race radio whilst on dutch corner suddenly makes the whole peloton jump their gears.

somebody tried it over 10 years ago - possibly SRAM? - only recently in the last couple of years has it remerged.
Zap from mavic, if i remember rightly Alex Zulle tested it out at a TDF,
As for someone changing your gears i do not think they can as it is a wired system so not subject to interferance afaik, the big V would know more.

Electronic shifting is daft.

Good tekkers from Wiggins, but I preferred Millar's expression of rage. We've all felt like that at some point...

I'd do it if someone would replace my bike when it gets scratched.
