Indeed, you've set yourself a challenge, that is a good thing. It sounds well within your capabilities (FNRttC have been proving that for a decade) so don't look at it as a mountain, look at is as something to enjoy and achieve. It'll be your first metric centenary, which is a bit of a milestone. Have fun with it, there really is little point making yourself worried or miserable.

My advice as an unfit fat man would be to make sure you can do a 50 miler without too many problems first and you should be fine as long as you keep hydrated and eat when riding. For me hydration is key - I ran out of water on a 100 miler last year and experienced the worse cramp EVER. My fave bike foods for long rides are flapjack, bananas & Soreen (and the odd bag of sweeties).

I will be taking 2 x 500mm drinks (one ISO & one water).....I will not be afraid to knock on a door if that runs out.
Malt loaf, flapjacks and jelly babies are on my little list :smile:
