How worn are your cleats?

Cleat bolts are relatively easy to drill out if they're seized.

I find it gets increasingly difficult to release from the pedals when cleats are worn and replace them regularly - can't say that I've kept a record of mileage, but I'd guess at about 4000 miles.

I've just changed mine this week as the right one was not going in as well as it did (about the same wear as yours)

Wiggle were doing them cheap. They now go in with a crisp snap!

I find the opposite I could unclip without twisting, no amount of tension tightening would cure it, new set of cleats & all is well
