What do we have so far?

Harsher penalties for using phones when driving, similar to drink driving, at least a year’s ban then have to retake test.
Ban HGVs from many central London roads
HGV to all require 360 degree views
Use of electric cargo bikes for those last mile delivery scenarios
More low traffic neighbourhoods
Make more roads clear ways and use the freed up road space , at least one if not two lanes for cycling.
Make pavements wider
Ban motorised vehicles from key shopping spots like Oxford Street
More buses and ban taxis from bus lanes
Better signage and more direct cycling routes
Ban driving personal motorised transport in to central London
Fit intelligent pricing systems to cars, so that journeys under 5 miles cost significantly more than they do at the moment.

Thanks to new members for coming up with these suggestions

Returning to the issue of drivers being distracted by mobile phone use. Just a single incident. But what an incident!
