Howdy all

My name is Shawn. I found this forum on another forum (heh, another...). I am a brand new cyclist (been 10 years since I last rode as a kid). I am wanting to get into better shape and get a bit more healthier so I am getting into cycling. I just purchased my first bike which is a 2012 23" Gravity Base Camp 2.0 mountain bike. It has disk brakes and all that stuff I know nothing about on it.

It seems like every hobby I get into is expensive, cycling is rather expensive... the bikes, the tools, the clothing, etc. I also have many other expensive hobbies including running websites and forums (probably have near 50 sites on my dedicated server). I also am a photographer, my setup is a Nikon D3100 DSLR. I am a long time storm chaser and Skywarn storm spotter as well.

I am a full time security manager for a cable manufacturing plant. I am a full time college student getting a PhD in Management with a concentration on Emergency Management and Homeland Security. I also hold a degree in Criminal Justice. I am a member of the Masonic Lodge and the National Rifle Association. I am a trigger happy redneck by all means... I am 27 years old, male and I live in southern Illinois.
