Being a stay at home 1 day a week dad. Checking out the kiddies channels. All the kid's cartoon are now made by computer. They look soulless. But.. at least the cartoons these days actually try to teach kids something rather then showing random acts of (extremely funny) comic violence. I think a purchase is in order of some Looney Tunes DVD's is in order.

I like Peppa Pig and the Wonder Pets (as does my niece!) they're in a different style to the usual CGI stuff. If you've got boys they might not be quite so interested though.

My 3 year old nephew likes Peppa Pig - although he likes Chugginton more...

I think he's outgrown In the Night Garden, which is good, because when I'm there and we watch it, I think I must be on drugs or something.

I'm doing a wee bit of last minute babysitting for a few hours for my neighbour looking after their 4 year old twins.

I showed them this on you tube and they can't get enough. The tears are streaming down their faces. They've never seen a Tom and Jerry cartoon before,

I love all the old cartoons and have a couple of boxes full of DVDs and videos - I let the kids watch any spare copies but they tend to wreck them so that's all they get. Mrs 3BM doesn't mind them watching Looney Tunes and T and J but she did draw the line at Tex Avery as some of the humour is a bit adult.
