As long as I breathe, I attack.
Dense fog this morning on the way to work so I avoided the back lanes and it was still Dicey, apparently there was a big accident coming from the other direction that made some a hour and a half late.
So far I have cleaned, masked up and spray painted 4 bin lids so if they want to pay me double time for this level of work I will let them.

Morning

Touch dull. Not too nippy.

I'll have coffee and think about what I should/could do.
I have already had a fight today with Beans, it was ace. I won na na na na na.

Going riding with a couple of mates later this morning. Cool, damp and misty but not raining so no problem. Will probably chill out and watch the F1 and footy highlights later.

Morning all. Definitely foggy, damp and chilly here. Another family / decluttering day, probably with a tip run as well. Will be also watching 2 youngest grandsons in remembrance parade.

This winter's seasonal work has coincided with double domestic disaster.

Came home on Thursday to find Mrs Wakemalcolm stuck in the upstairs toilet due to some failed bathroom door furniture. Managed to evacuate her via the window and extension roof before attending to the mechanism with a bendy scraper and hammer. Got a nice walk down to Screwfix this morning as I've speculatively purchased a replacement mech; hope it fits.

DD1 graced is with her presence only to declare that the boiler wasn't working; she was right. Turns out that my unseemly Bosch premium doesn't actually deliver any Sunday repair (out anyone in the phone).

Coffee, warming porage, more coffee.

My fingers are cold!

Turns out the fan heater from the van which I've had taped on to 1KW to prevent it from frying the van electrics eats itself on the 2KW setting. At least I know that the smoke alarms are properly connected.

Afternoon.
Dragged myself out of bed early doors to go on club run as it wasn’t raining for once. 66 miles done on first outing for winter bike this season. Felt ok despite it being a couple of Kgs heavier than my summer bike.
Later is a meal in the village pub, our prize from last weeks quiz.
