Please keep in mind that I have to get to the top of the hill in the first place! I also have to come back up this section at night, which I actually enjoy as much as coming down. I do the whole hill out of the saddle. Godd for the 'ol legs!!

Actually, I was only joking, I wasn't sure if it was a hill or not.

Your challenge is to provide us with the equivalent video of you climbing back up the hill! ;)

It's too dark to film:blush:

When it gets a bit lighter in the evening I'll show the other side of the hill which is steeper but shorter, I can hit 40+ on that one!

My aim is to try and sped up on my commute...it's only 15 minutes away and I only do it once a week so I might just go out a few nights and put all my energy into it and see what I can do

No the aim is to cycle faster and improve fitness. My average this weekend was about 12mph because I was ill, but usually nearer the 13-15 mark depending on if I can be bothered. I'd quite like to get to a stage where I can keep up with traffic for the majority of the journey (or at least on the bits with a slight down hill slope). Problem is, whenever I cycle by myself I tend to dawdle a bit

It's only a few miles so putting a bit of extra effort in won't wear me out too much - can rest while getting paid at work
