So 4th june is the hoy bikes launch....

Anyone heard/read/seen anything? Will they be overpriced for the kit you get?

Anyone considering getting one?

Is the hoy brand able to match the boardman?

Haven't seen anything about them will be interesting to see how they compare!

I just googles them, seems there are a couple of articles with pictures, one in a daily rag another on BR, if your looking for pics, they look nice but in all honesty i am pretty clueless as to what's good or bad.

Fellow riders will be able to say "ahoy there" to each other.
And if you don't like it, and you happen to be a Geordie, you can hoy it oot.

Yer I meant the Hoy. Ritte's are quite nice looking. A bit common in London since Cyclelab got their sponsorship deal with them

I can only see the point if they are using a new alloy - otherwise the basic design demands mean they produce a bike just like all the other alloy bikes.

on an interview on the radio 5 live yesterday, he said they were made to be for specific budgets. I only caught a few minutes of the interview someone might be able to find it.

Spec seems alright for the money

Colour scheme looks a bit boring but the same goes for most new bikes these days - bring back the 90s and Klein style paint jobs!

Spec is hardly earth shattering at the price. Alloy frame with Ultegra and Aksiums for £1350. Yawn.

So the price is not the USP.
Looks are not the USP.
Design oddity is not the USP.
Exotic materials are... you get the picture.
