Not really about me "per me", just that I make my shift. And not really HR, we call it "staffing" 'cause we are the caterers, we aren't even human
Anyhow, got a text from them the other day: " just to let you know the trains from (my area) to work won't be running tomorrow".
Everybody knows I cycle to work!

Sorry, I did that just to annoy you!

Perhaps they saw the weather that headed our way over the last couple of days and thought you might bale and use the train.

Sorry to breakaway from thread topic, but we have this lady who is crazy about us getting into HR in future........shes our career counselor, who's a Psyscologist and we had one session with her in making career choices,:cry:all she talked about is Psycology and HR degrees, for an 3 hours:cursing:

The cherry on top of the (not so well-baked cake)was that after lecturing for that much time about those two careers, she asked us who wanted to go into those streams and:rofl:.............Nobody raised their hands up:rofl:

Now after seeing this thread......i'm surely not even gonna think about it.....

As a Chartered Fellow Of The Institute of Personnel and Development, I feel personally (no pun intended - well maybe a little) slighted by these comments
No offence meant to you Rocky, but i dont like being lectured about ANY topic for 3 hours:becool:

But you talk cake and chocolate.........
