HTC Desire: Factory reset to save memory

The phone has always been fab since I got it last Sept... but limited space meant ti started to get full up, and I fgot rid of more and more apps, while the useful ones that can't be moved to SD card (e.g google maps) got bigger and bigger. Was down to 19/20 MB free space on phone, even with regular cache clearing... so, having made note/backed up all apps/settings etc, I did a factory reset, the re-installed my fave/best apps. Now 80+ free

Well, a lot of the apps are on sd, but rooting is something of a dark art, like indexing gears, and I'm too nesh to go there.

i had a iPhone 3G and went and bought a Desire, this issue, poor battery quality and weak OS management made me sell it in 3 months and get an iPhone 4
