It came with the bike; seems it's a Selle San Marco Ponza Lux saddle.

Folks seem to be selling it online for about 25 USD, so I guess not that expensive.

51 weeks old, will be taking it into evans cycles tomorrow to see what they say. I suspect they'll want to send it away for 'assessment', which I suspects means I'll need to buy another saddle tomorrow.

(And before any comments start  I'm 82 kg, so it's not exactly like it's been overloaded...)

You did use a torque wrench to tighten that clamp bolt didn't you?

Let me re-phrase that.

You DID use a torque wrench to tighten that clamp bolt. And to the tension that you will get from an email to SI tomorrow asking....

It did indeed; came from them fitted on / as part of a pinnacle borealis 3.0.

To the best of my recollection I've not fiddled with it since they set it up for me

Well, top marks to Evans Cycles.

Without any quibbles at all they offered a 40 quid credit against any saddle they had. So I'm now the proud owner of a specialized phenom in return for an extra tenner; seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Result - well done.
