Saturday morning ride as usual, never been put off by a bit of rain ... although the sitting in the coffee shop dripping wet afterwards can be a tad uncomfortable. I'm sure Senior Management will assign me some tasks to fill the rest of the day.

I'll be working (if you can even call it that!) both Saturday and Sunday as is becoming normal. My play days are Monday to Friday, but with one or two evening shifts thrown in. There is a train line all the way to work though; so I can usually fit a bike ride in somewhere if I can be bothered and weather is playing ball. Ride one way, train the other (it is 20 miles each way), or train part way ride the rest. Use the motorbike or take the car; so many choices to make .
Anyway ... our forecast is not lousy. Showers; which for us is pretty good.
So to answer the question re Saturday; I'll decide when I wake up!

Maz is away for the weekend so I think it's time to take the Ridgeback apart give everything a good wash and polish and build it up again with some new bits.
At least I can leave bits/tools laying about in the Conservatory without getting told off (as long as everything is put away before her return on Tuesday)

I could
a) Finally put my Pashley back together
b) fix the leaking cam cover on my car
c) fix the leaking tap in my bathroom
d) find time to do all three
e) procrastinate and do noting worthwhile

Hmmmm....

Lining the man cave with 25mm celotex thermal board and 12.5mm plasterboard. Then adding pine shelving units and refitting the tv screen, computer and turbo. Will then carpet it next weekend

I'm usually on the MTB on a Saturday after working in the morning so weather not that much of an issue but Scottish Cup Final this weekend so it will be beers with my mates no matter what the weather is like.

If not raining, paint the remaining fence panel. If rubbish weather, indoors faffing about. Might go down to the Specialized shop and buy myself a new helmet (old one has lining falling out) and a pair of cycling shoes that I need (credit card now looks worried^_^). Watch some rubbish on telly or spend far too much time on Youtube.

Well done to those cycling! I`m a fair weather cyclist at the weekend, I ride to work in all weathers during the week, and if it`s raining on a weekend, well the bike is staying in the garage!
