Humber Bridge

I've walked, cycled and driven that bridge for years, it's a great structure and it takes you from a barren heathen wilderness to Lincolnshire.

So no real change, then?

I have never used Demand5 before ... I have fired it up for the first time to watch the programme.

I rode over the bridge in the summer with busdennis et al, straight into the massive thunderstorm that you can see building on the other side of the river in this photograph!

I've ran over it, walked over it and driven over it. Even remember it being built, but I've never cycled over it. Thinking of doing a Leicester to Beverley ride next year so the cycle over it might get ticked off.

And I have cycled over it a couple of times on the York-Hull FNRttC.

My office is in the shadow of it. It was quite nice during the summer to nip down to the car park on the foreshore and eat my cheese sandwich lunch there.
I sail at the North Lincs boat club as its actually slightly easier to get to than the one at Welton down the A63 - the bridge is quicker to get over than the manned level crossing to get there.

Downside is having to cross it to go to Immingham. Nobody should have to go to Immingham.

Theres another suspension bridge that you can only either cycle or walk over and can get to by cycling or walking over the big suspension bridge.
Horkstow bridge
Nice couple of hours ride out from home for me.
