Just had an email in broken English saying, because I have not responded to the contacts, I am aware of precisely NONE, my order for a Pedersen has been cancelled and my deposit will be refunded.

I forsee a trip from Stockholm to Copenhagen in the New Year to deploy a WTF (What The Fan!) bomb in person in the shop.

So...

What has been your "best" piece of bike- or life-in-general-WTF-ery of 2015 (so far)?

Being told in writing that my continuous service date for redundancy calculation purposes was 01/09/2013 - it should be 1st September 2000

I produced evidence to challenge that.

Then the date was corrected to 09/01/2013.

I've produced evidence to debunk that one too.

I'll have to wait until 11th January to see what the next move is.

Can't you just ask what the problem is and find out what needs to be done to resolve it?

A sensible suggestion.

Past experience of phone and email suggests that needs to be done in person, and when the "right" member of staff is about.

Receiving a letter saying I do have to pay council tax, followed by another a few days later saying I don't have to pay council tax and a refund for 8 months council tax. I didn't question the second one.

Npower. They eventually gave up trying to work out our outstanding fuel bill for 2012, and wrote off an unknown outstanding amount. Took me 10 minutes (approx) to work it out myself.

Shocked to see them fined £26m? Of course not.
