I have waterproof leggings but i have never worn them , wish i had today along with a real coat i am still using the summer wind proof or i just boil in the bag

Well that was fun, and I'm glad to report that my water proof trousers worked very well... although the top half of me didn't fair quite so well. Never mind eh, it's only water!

It wasn't too wet last night but it was pretty windy. Today the wind had dropped but it was much wetter. I've had to bring the car today anyway due to stuff I've got to do later whch needs the car. Shame really .. it looked like it would have been an adventure on the ride in, especially the two floods not-quite-joining up on the roundabout near to work that left a nice bike-sized wiggly path to use. Think I'd have enjoyed that bit. Though I bet some git-in-a-box would have managed to tear through the flood and drown me. 
Not that it would have mattered by then, after 7 miles out in it, anyway ...

Lacking cyclists today and no doubt it will lack cyclists on tommorows commute.
Back to the heavy bike as minimum scalping will happen.
