Hybrid Help

Hi I am looking to get a new bike soon and not wishing to spend a fortune incase its a middle aged whim -im 51-anyway I have come down to a copuple of bikes that I like

Ridgeback Motion
Specialised Globe Vienna

anyone got any pro's cons on either

I've got a Ridgeback Motion and I love it. I bought it to use for exerise and it's perfect. I'm not an expert but it feels soild and well built. No point in spending thousands on a bike if your not sure how much you'll use it.

I've had it a week and have not had any problems.

I ride a Kona Dew, and love the thing to bits - its nice and light, just the job for both tootling round town to work and back and for longer distances - did my first century on it the other week, and regularly do rides of 70+ miles on it. As it was last years model I got it for £340, and its a heck of a lot of bike for that price . . ..
