To be fair, the write up is really pretty accurate
Although Mickle caused a bit of a storm in a hybrid thread seemingly denying their existance
hybrid is a very loose term that is applied to a wide variety of bikes and usually not by the manufacturers. For example Giant use X-road, Specialized use Multi Use and often the bikes offered within these categories by the same company are very different indeed
