hybrids

hi all, quick question,looking for a hybrid type road bike for herself!
why do some have mtb groupsets while others have road?
would it make much of a diffrence, looking for one with 27c wheels.

Thats the thing with hybrids... Some are mountain bikes with smoother tyres to help them on the road, others are road bikes with flat bars.

You have to decide which you will do more of, trail riding (Tow paths, gravel trails and the like) with some on road, or mostly road with a little trail riding.
