hydration - do you add salt into the mix?

If I go on a long ride (90 miles) I normally make up some diluted/weak orange juice. Do I need to add any salt into the mix? Is a bit of salt important as a rehydration nutrient?
if you have been managing ok without it up until now, then I can't see a reason to add it. There's probably plenty of salt elsewhere in your diet anyway...
