hypo-allergenic grips

Hi all,

I have weird allergies, and I think one of them might be to the rubber of the handlebar grips on on my bikes.

Does anyone know where you can get decent hypo-allergenic (i.e. non-rubber) grips?

Sounds daft, I know, but there's my allergies for you.

I don't like riding with gloves.

Will leather ones do? If so Brooks produce one.

yeah, leather should be ok. Also I had a rummage on google and it seems you can get foam/neoprene ones.

It depends a bit on the kind of riding you do but if you crash at any speed and your hands meet the road, you'll regret not having gloves.

+1. I learned this lesson the hard way. Picking bits of gravel out of the palm of your hand for 2 weeks is not fun.
